Trisha Yearwood proved that her talent as an entertainer goes beyond just a great singing voice, as the country star showed off her cheeky sense of humor in a new video.
The 60-year-old took to Instagram on Sunday, March 23 to share a hilarious new clip of herself pretending she didn't want to sing as she lip-synced to audio that repeatedly said, "Don't make me sing."

Yearwood's funny video is a reference to a Saturday Night Live character played by Kristen Wiig over a decade ago. The country singer perfectly evoked the character, and at the end of the video, she pulled a microphone from behind her back as the audio said, "Oh, I could sing one, I guess."

Fans loved the cheeky, playful video from Yearwood, with one fan declaring her "literal perfection." Another said that she was "My favorite comedian fr ? lmao."
"I love this!!! Not only do you have one of the most amazing voices in country music…but you’ve got an incredible sense of humor as well!!" wrote a third fan.
Others called the clip "hysterical" and "iconic," while many shared full support as they urged Yearwood to sing all the time.
In the original SNL skit, Wiig was a host at a 1920s party at which a guest, played by Jon Hamm, was asked to play the piano.
Despite no one asking her, Wiig pretended they requested that she sing as well and she was reluctantly agreeing. Once the performance started, Wiig's character proved that there might've be a good reason why no one really asked her to sing.
