A heady mix of back-stabbing, betrayal and guilt await those making their way to the jungle for a second season of Tempting Fortune.
The Channel 4 programme is back, this time in Langkawi, Malaysia, rather than South Africa, with 12 new contestants willing to give up life’s luxuries in the ultimate test of willpower.
They must endure a gruelling 18-day trek across the Malaysian wilderness with only basic survival gear to reach the finish line and a £300,000 prize.
But along the way they must resist expensive temptations if they want to keep the prize pot intact.
If just one person opts to take a temptation, the prize fund will go down and everyone else will end up paying for it.

Speaking about the new season and what viewers can expect, McGuinness said: “They can expect a lot of drama. A lot of plot twists.
“Weirdly even though we were out before Traitors, I find some of the stuff on Traitors similar to what we are doing.
“There’s something that happens in this series where one of the fortune seekers plays a certain type of game and then, he or she – not giving anything away – but half way through, everything spins and they go absolutely plot twist vibes.”
