Adou Thiero is ‘doubtful’ to be available for Arkansas during the 1st weekend of the NCAA Tournament.
That’s according to Arkansas coach John Calipari, who passed the info along to college basketball insider Jon Rothstein on Sunday morning.

— Jon Rothstein (@JonRothstein) March 16, 2025Thiero has been out for the last couple of weeks as he deals with a knee injury. He last played for the Razorbacks on Feb. 22 in a win over Missouri.
Prior to his injury, Thiero was Arkansas’s most important player on the offensive side of the floor. He averaged 15.6 points per game this season and took over a lot of shot-creation responsibilities after Boogie Fland went down with an injury in mid-January. Thiero was 2nd amongst qualifiers in assists per game during SEC play for the Razorbacks with 1.8.
However, Arkansas managed to play well down the stretch with Thiero and Fland both sidelined. The Hogs won 4 of their last 5 regular-season games and are likely to earn an NCAA Tournament bid on Selection Sunday.
Still, life in March Madness will be difficult for Arkansas if Thiero isn’t available for the first 2 rounds. Arkansas will learn its seed in the NCAA Tournament during the selection show at 6 p.m. ET.
