ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police are investigating after a dog was shot on St. Paul Street near Avenue A on Friday morning.
The owner told officers he was walking his dog without a leash when he heard a gunshot and realized his dog had been hit. Police arrived around 1 a.m.
The dog survived the initial shot and stayed with the owner. Police are asking anyone with information to call 911.
