Premiering with two back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, March 4, Denise Richards & Her Wild Things will follow the titular TV star (who is also an executive producer on the new show) as she navigates the chaos of her work and family life, alongside husband Aaron Phyphers and her three daughters Lola Sheen, Sami Sheen and Eloise Richards.

Despite a decades-spanning career in the spotlight as an actress, model and Bond girl, Richards exclusively revealed to Parade that viewers will find a lot to relate to in the new docuseries. "I have a lot of the same issues as many parents trying to navigate your kids not getting along or being challenging with me, and letting them grow up, be adults and have their own opinions and stuff like that," she said. The 54-year-old star added: "I think that's something that a lot of parents will be able to relate to, but of course, the girls are very different. They've always been very different from each other, but they have a lot [more] similarities than they think. They'll always be best friends, even if they go through stuff."

Who are the fathers of Denise Richards' children? 

Richards shares her two eldest daughters with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, with whom Denise was married from 2002 to 2006. The Wild Things actress was actually pregnant with her second child, Lola, when she filed for divorce from Sheen, who had relapsed from a drug and alcohol addiction. The Real Housewives alum welcomed youngest daughter Eloise via adoption in June 2011, following a two-year adoption process. The girl’s middle name, Joni, is in honor of Denise’s late mother. They’re so protective of her, they play with her, they love watching her grow and change, and so far I haven’t seen any jealousy.”

Richards’ husband Aaron Phyphers began the process of legally adopting Eloise following the couple’s Malibu nuptials in 2018. "It wasn't even a decision. It is just is,” Phyphers recently told PEOPLE about the adoption. “She's a sweetheart. I love her. I think of her as my own."

Does Denise Richards' daughter have a disability?

Yes, Denise’s youngest daughter Eloise was born with Chromosome 8, Monosomy 8p, a rare chromosomal disorder that can result in developmental delays, learning disabilities and physical abnormalities. During the RHOBH Season 9 reunion, which aired in July 2019, Denise opened up about Eloise’s condition. "Eloise has a chromosome disorder. She has a deletion in Chromosome 8, which has caused many delays with her. It's caused a lot with speech development," she revealed.

"We found out probably two years ago," Richards shared, making Eloise about eight years old at the time of her diagnosis. "It was a very difficult thing to diagnose. It was really hard. When I saw what was written on the medical report to get the blood test and all the testing done, it was hard to see it in black and white. It's just hard to see with your kid, you know."

Denise and the rest of the family have reportedly learned sign language to communicate with Eloise and have discussed employing the help of a guide dog. “Every child is different,” Richards told PEOPLE in 2019. “You take care of your children no matter what is going on with them. Lola actually credits the Denise Richards & Her Wild Things series for bringing the sisters back together. “It forced us to obviously be around each other and then just the interviews and stuff. I can breathe again now that we’re talking.”
