The last show was a collection of quotes relevant to various aspects of being Creative; some from the well-known like Picasso, Emerson, Bruce Lee, and Buckminster Fuller and some from unknown sources.

Here’s a few more quotes that are all anonymous:

You don’t have to get ready if you stay ready.

Better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Sitting on ready and rocking on go.

During the show, just before sharing a quote from Einstein, I mentioned in passing that one could fill a slim volume with this man’s quotes.

A nod in that direction is to offer a week of Einstein creativity quotes:

Monday: The important thing is to not stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.

Tuesday: Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better.

Wednesday: We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

Thursday: If you can’t explain it simply you don’t understand it well enough.

Friday: Creativity is intelligence having fun.

Saturday: The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.

Sunday: A person who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.

Here’s the challenge this format frames and I am picking it up. I write this on a Monday so today I am going to attempt to be very mindful of times and places I can let my curious questioning off the leash. Tomorrow will be easy, it’s one of my regular activities, immersing myself into the woods.

How about joining me and do the same; be mindful of Einstein’s quote for the day and watch for it, let your behavior be shaped by it, or at least influenced.

I’m going to make my week fun.

“Exploring Your Creative Genius” takes an expansive view on what it means to be creative and entrepreneurial in an ongoing conversation led by Carl Nordgren — entrepreneur, novelist, and lifelong student with decades of experience growing his own creative capacity and assisting others to do the same in exciting new ways!
