COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Co-workers stepped in to wrestle the gun away from the accused shooter at a New Albany warehouse.
That detail and others came to light Friday, one day after Bruce Foster III received a $20 million bond and less than a week after he allegedly opened fire at the KDC/One facility in New Albany, killing two and wounding four, before he ordered a rideshare to leave and returned to his apartment.
A 43-page report from New Albany police said that witnesses and victims said Foster appeared to be intoxicated, smelled of marijuana and was walking awkwardly with robotic-like movements before he began firing at people along a production line during a shift change.

(LICKING COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE)One person was struck point-blank in the head, the report said. Another co-worker said they fought with Foster to get the pistol out of his hands. The gun went off during the struggle, striking the person on the side of head.
Another coworker reported to police a rumor that Foster was about to be fired because he wasn't in the right state of mind. NBC4 asked KDC/One officials if this was true, but they said they were unable to answer as they assist law enforcement in the investigation.
Yet another said they didn't notice anything unusual from Foster that night.
The incident took place late Tuesday at the facility in an industrial section of New Albany that falls in Licking County. About 150 people were inside at the same time, although because of the noise level there, some never realized there was a shooter until police arrived.
But for others, it was a frantic scene. KDC/One maintenance employee Noah Chase Lasko told NBC4 he was next to the production floor when someone began frantically banging on the door to get inside his area.
"A couple of us went out onto the floor to try to figure out what was going on," he said. "Everybody out there was running, and it was very chaotic. It didn’t take long for somebody to yell shooter."
After the shooting, authorities said Foster returned to an apartment in Columbus' Weinland Park neighborhood, just south of Ohio State's campus, where he was arrested 12 hours later.
Marshal Michael Black said multiple agencies worked overnight to locate Foster. Black said officers had to use a taser to restrain Foster.
“I know he did not comply with orders," Black said. "At the time that we're looking for someone who just committed a hostile act, shot numerous people, you can't take too many chances."
At his court appearance, Foster said he did not resist arrest.
He remains in custody at a Licking County facility in Newark.
