The Chiefs will take the field wearing their away white uniforms.

The Eagles have the privilege of wearing their home green uniforms.

Kansas City announced their uniform selection in a post showing off the patches being added to the shirts.

The patches being worn by the Chiefs include a Super Bowl LIX patch, an AFC patch, and the designated “C” for captains.

In the Patrick Mahomes era, the Chiefs wore their home red jerseys in three of their four Super Bowl appearances.

Those jerseys were worn in Super Bowl LIV, LV, and LVIII. Kansas City won LIV and LVIII.

The Chiefs wore their away whites in their previous Super Bowl matchup against the Eagles.

They defeated Philadelphia in the white uniforms during Super Bowl LVII.

Chiefs fans are excited about their upcoming Super Bowl matchup, and shared their thoughts on social media.

“These looks like good unis to win a title in!” one fan said.

    “They’re beautiful!!!” another fan said.

“I might have to get one. These patches look great,” a third fan said.

“The SB patch on the red jersey look so made for each other,” a fourth fan said.

“Might be the best looking one yet,” a fifth fan said.

The Eagles have worn green in all four of their Super Bowl appearances.

What happens to the fine money?

THE NFL regularly fines athletes tens of thousands of dollars every week during the season.

But where does the money go?

The NFL claims about $4 million a year has been used to support worthy causes since 2011.

According to the NFL operations website, “The fines collected are donated to the Professional Athletes Foundation to support Legends in need and the NFL Foundation to further support the health, safety and wellness of athletes across all levels, including youth football and the communities that support the game.”

They won only once in Super Bowl LII.

Philadelphia will look to improve their record to 2-3 in the Super Bowl against the Chiefs.

Super Bowl LIX kicks off at 6:30 pm ET on February 9.

The Chiefs are aiming to become the first team to win back-to-back-to-back Super Bowls.

The Eagles will look to join the Colts, Rams, Ravens, Dolphins, and Buccaneers as a franchise with two Super Bowl wins.
