CHARISSA Thompson was baffled by Michael Vick’s pick for NFL MVP.
Vick has his pick for MVP, but it isn’t anyone like Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson.
Vick is choosing a wildcard for his choice as MVP, saying Joe Burrow is the most deserving of the award.
Despite not making the NFL playoffs with the Cincinnati Bengals this season, Vick still thinks Burrow was the most valuable player in the league.
“Joe Burrow, I think he locked up the MVP yesterday,” Vick said.
Charissa Thompson couldn’t believe this and blurted out her shock immediately.
“Timeout!” she said.
Vick didn’t stop his explanation though, and shared why he thinks Burrow is the top dog in the NFL.
“The MVP is the most valuable player to your team,” Vick said.
“No team needed their quarterback more than Joe Burrow and he delivered.”
Burrow had a spectacular season for the Bengals in 2024, leading the NFL in passing yards.
He threw for 4,918 yards with 43 touchdowns and only nine interceptions.
“There’s a lot of reasons to like what Joe Burrow has done,” Thompson said.
While Burrow was spectacular in 2024, other great candidates were just as good and led their teams to the playoffs.
Jackson is one of those players, who arguably should win the award this year.
He passed for 4,172 yards with 41 touchdowns on the season.
Jackson also rushed for an additional 915 yards with four more touchdowns.

Allen even caught a touchdown pass this season.
Saquon Barkley is a wildcard pick to win the MVP as well.
He is the most recent running back to break 2,000 yards in a season and was only 100 yards away from the all-time record.
