Sister Wives star Kody Brown dug his son Garrison's grave in a heart-wrenching "last ode" to his child with Janelle Brown.
In the May 18 episode of the TLC series, the Brown family laid Garrison, 25, to rest in Wyoming after his sudden death in March 2024.

Ahead of the funeral, Kody approached the sexton of the cemetery.
"I just asked him permission if I could dig it," he explained. "It means something to me. I don't know why. It's something deeply emotional."
Kody, his brother, Scott, and his brother-in-law, Tim—the "men group who nurtured" Garrison "into maturity"—completed the heart-wrenching task as a team.

The Brown family had Garrison's ashes placed in a custom urn. His final resting place was near other late members of the family, including his grandmother, Cheryl.
"I've never done anything like this, digging a grave," Kody told producers. "I think this is one of the most important things I've ever done. It's the last ode to my boy."
Janelle later said of Kody's gesture, "I thought it was perfect. I think it's symbolic and poetic and all the things to have Kody dig that hole."
