Denver weather: Increasing clouds Monday, Pinpoint Weather Alert Day Tuesday

DENVER (KDVR) — More chilly temperatures are in Denver’s weather forecast alongside chances for snow for the upcoming week.

There is a Pinpoint Weather Alert Day on Tuesday for snow coming into the metro area.

    Denver will get around 2 to 5 inches of snowfall on Monday night and into Tuesday, meanwhile, the southern Front Range and foothills will see around 3 to 6 inches of snow.

    Weather today: Sunny start but chances for snow

    Monday will start mainly sunny, however, winter weather advisories are in place in some areas.

    As high temperatures climb to the upper 30s, clouds will increase ahead of the chance for snow showers.

    Snow starts Monday night after dinnertime as lows drop back down into the upper teens and lower 20s.

    Snow showers will continue Tuesday afternoon before tapering off by Tuesday evening.
