(PINPOINT WEATHER) -- Rain, snow, and a wintry mix will impact us Monday morning from our mountain counties into Uptown as a low-pressure system tracks east toward the Carolinas.
This will likely lead to a wet and icey morning commute for many returning to work Monday morning. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Ashe, Avery, and Watauga counties through Monday afternoon and evening as sleet will likely transition into snow later today.
