Elijhah Badger transferred into Florida for the 2024 season with expectations to produce a key role in the offense. He lived up to those expectations and is now ready for the next step in his career.
The former Arizona State star celebrated the Christmas holiday by confirming he will head to the 2025 NFL Draft. That leaves the Gators looking to replace their leading receiver with 806 yards from this season.
“After much prayer and reflection, I am proud to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft,” wrote Badger. “This is the culmination of years of hard work and dedication, and I am ready to take the next step in my career. I carry with me all the lessons I’ve learned, and I will forever be grateful to everyone who has been part of my story. Thank you!”

— EKB (@Elijhahbadger2) December 25, 2024Badger appeared in 11 regular season games (12 total) this season with 8 starts. He was a big-play threat all year long while ranking 6th nationally with 20.67 yards per catch. Badger also finished 8th in the SEC while averaging 67.2 yards per game.
While losing Badger is a blow, Florida has already been active in replacing the production. The Gators added former UCLA WR J. Michael Sturdivant via transfer and eventually flipped 5-star WR Dallas Wilson away from Oregon in the 2025 recruiting class.
