As the CommunityWorx buildings at 117 and 125 West Main Street continue to go through the foreclosure process, the prospective buyer with whom the nonprofit has reached an agreement is now public. The Carrboro-based organization shared Friday it has reached an agreement with fellow nonprofit Shared Visions Foundation to purchase the parcel of land and allow CommunityWorx to continue its operations in each building. The reveal comes after CommunityWorx CEO Barbara Jessie-Black told Chapelboro and partners of the nonprofit struck a deal to sell the property in October.
