Throughout The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, we get a major glimpse into the day-to-day lives of our favorite #MomTok members — Taylor Frankie Paul, Demi Engemann, Jessi Ngatikaura, Jen Affleck, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla Mathews, Whitney Leavitt and Layla Taylor — as the group of Mormon mom influencers recover from "a swinging sex scandal that makes international headlines" (according to the official synopsis of the show).
Two major aspects of their day-to-day lives, though? Swig and plastic surgery.
With season 2 of the beloved reality television series recently hitting Hulu and Disney Plus, our favorite #MomTok members have stopped by numerous podcasts and media outlets to spill behind-the-scenes secrets about the show we know and love. Recently, Layla and Jessi stopped by the Page Six studio for an episode of the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast — hosted by Danny Murphy and Evan Real — to discuss all things The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, including plastic surgery.
@virtualrealiteaYikes ? "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" star Jessi Ngatikaura would rather get plastic surgery sans anesthesia than talk to ex-BFF Demi Engemann. ?
♬ original sound - Virtual Reali-Tea by Page SixKicking off the conversation, Evan touched on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' ability to break the stigma surrounding plastic surgery, admitting that — based on a previous conversation he had with Layla over Zoom — he was inspired to get a nose job and a lower blepharoplasty surgery, with plans to get veneers next month.
Although Layla was very supportive of Evan's decisions surrounding his aesthetics, she spilled that she might be toning back her own plastic surgery. "I might be taking my implants out... I just feel like for my frame, I would either go smaller, or I would just take them all together. I just feel like for my frame, they're just always there, and it's not a bad thing, but like sometimes I wanna wear a sports bra and not look like a hoochie mama," she admitted.
Needless to say, we will be keeping up with Layla on Instagram, @laylaleannetaylor, to see if she follows through with these plans. In the meantime, reality television lovers may stream seasons 1 and 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives via Hulu or Disney Plus.
