Traffic Alert: Northbound I-35 in San Marcos closed at River Ridge Parkway

SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) -- All lanes of northbound Interstate 35 in San Marcos are closed near River Ridge Parkway due to a crash. The Texas Department of Transportation posted about the crash on X at 7:14 a.m. The closed area is between exits 207 River Ridge Parkway and 208 Carlson Circle. It's not clear what caused the crash or how long the roadway will be closed. KXAN has reached out to local law enforcement for details and will update this story when we receive a response.
