New York Knicks vs. Indiana Pacers 2-0

The New York Knicks faced off against the Indiana Pacers in a thrilling matchup that resulted in a 2-0 series lead for the Knicks. The first game saw the Knicks dominate with a strong offensive performance, led by their star player, Julius Randle. Randle's impressive scoring and rebounding abilities propelled the Knicks to a convincing victory over the Pacers.

In the second game of the series, the Knicks continued their winning ways with another impressive performance. The team's defense was on full display as they shut down the Pacers' offense and limited their scoring opportunities. The Knicks' teamwork and determination were evident throughout both games, showcasing their potential to go far in the playoffs.

Jalen Brunson, who had exited with a right foot injury late in the first quarter of Wednesday night's Game 2 against the Indiana Pacers, had returned to the Madison Square Garden floor during halftime to see if he could push through the pain.

The moment he walked through the tunnel, the crowd erupted. It was a noise so loud that Hartenstein and his teammates said they heard it from their lockers, and so intense that Brunson pleaded fans to tone things down so he could find the mental clarity necessary to test out his foot.

Donte DiVincenzo, who was stellar again and finished with 28 points, drained a three with less than two minutes left to give the Knicks a nine-point lead before Aaron Nesmith responded with one of his own on the other end.

Brunson hit a floater with 41.7 seconds left as the crowd erupted.

Josh Hart has 19 points and 15 rebounds, Isaiah Hartenstein has 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Donte DiVincenzo scores 28, including 6 3-pointers.

New York wins the rebounding battle 44-34 after trailing by 3 at halftime. The Pacers' bench owns a 46-12 scoring edge.

Pacers coach Rick Carlisle gets ejected in the final minute.

The Knicks had surged to a 24-13 on his 3-pointer, but then after Obi Toppin made one on the other end, Brunson immediately began motioning to the bench for a substitution as he ran down the court on offense.

New York was dominating the third quarter when Anunoby appeared to hurt himself attempting a fast-break layup. He left the game soon after, limping toward the bench area, with 28 points.

The Knicks have already lost All-Star Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson and Bojan Bogdanovic to season-ending injuries.
