Driver cited after crash near BG post office ...Middle East

A one-vehicle crash in front of the Bowling Green post office sent the allegedly impaired driver to the hospital. On Sunday shortly after 2:30 p.m., Bowling Green police were dispatched to the intersection of Main and Pearl streets for an auto accident. Anthony Duconge, 28, BG, was northbound on South Main Street and attempted to turn left onto Pearl Street. His 2012 Jeep Compass left the roadway and struck a utility pole that was on the west side of the roadway before coming to rest in the back parking lot of the post office, according to the Bowling Green Police Division crash report.
