New at the fair: Rides for the little ones ...Middle East

By Sydney Leyerle Special to the Sentinel-Tribune This year, the Wood County Fair is introducing a new ride area designed specifically for young kids. The new kids’ section will be located next to the main ride area and will consist of a variety of themed rides. These rides will be smaller than the rides typically found at the fair and are designed to cater toward children who aren’t old enough to ride the larger rides. Paul Perry, second vice president of the fair board, said the company that owns the rides, Durant Enterprises, has agreed to bring more rides than normal to the fair this year. The hope, Perry said, is to offer more entertainment for families with younger kids who can’t ride
