This week, the "Praying" songstress took to social media to announce the death of her cat, Carl.
"Carl my little chicken," she wrote in an Instagram post on Friday, Jan. 24, while sharing a collection of sweet photos and videos of her beloved pet.
More photos included a video of the fluffy white cat when he was a kitten, as well as one shot of Carl in front of a Ouija board, one of him sitting inside a Versace bag and multiple pictures of him cozying up to his mom.

In the comments, the received an outpouring of support from friends and celebrities alike, including fellow singer and friend Demi Lovato, who wrote, "I’m so sorry ? ?" under Friday's post.
Kesha—who is currently traveling in Australia—later added a comment on her own post, writing to her supporters, "Thank you for these comments. I’m laying in my hotel room crying from all the kindness."
