Doha Metro services to resume next Friday

Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) announced the resumption of Doha Metro services next Friday to facilitate the movement of passengers during the temporary closure of the Corniche Road starting August 6 to August 10. The company stated that the service will be suspended on the following Friday -following the date of resumption of metro services- and its suspension will continue until the completion of major upgrades in its network systems. Qatar Rail emphasised the role of Doha Metro in facilitating transportation to avoid traffic congestion, especially during the period of temporary road closures, as the Doha Metro network covers the main destinations around the Corniche area through
