Karachi: The Sindh government has carried out development work in the historical old city area of Karachi where “Wazir Mansion”, the birthplace of Founder of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah, is situated to save the area from flooding during monsoon. Wazir Mansion is situated in Kharadar area, which is a part of the old city area where drainage and sewerage systems became outdated and obsolete causing inundation of the locality whenever heavy monsoon rain occurs. The area becomes inaccessible after heavy rains as special machinery has to be deployed by the city’s administration to clear flooding. During these days, visitors are kept out of Wazir Mansion the Founder of the Nation
