La Youth League (Ligue de la jeunesse), la Ligue des champions UEFA pour les moins de 19 ans, n'aura pas lieu cette saison. L'UEFA a annoncé son annulation, ce mercredi 17 février, alors que les 32es de finale devaient commencer début mars. La crise sanitaire liée à la pandémie de Covid-19 empêche son bon déroulement. « Les restrictions de circulation touchant les clubs engagés créent des difficultés majeures pour l'organisation de leurs matches », explique l'UEFA, selon laquelle il n'y avait « aucune possibilité pour décaler de nouveau le début de la compétition ». « La santé et la sécurité des joueurs doivent être considérées pour une priorité absolue », a ajouté l'instance.
