Dana White is on board with Donald Trump’s plan to bring UFC to the White House for the first time during America 250.
US president Trump is a close ally of UFC president White, with the latter giving a speech at the politician’s inauguration earlier this year.
Trump has also been a regular attendee of UFC events all over the US, and has shared some famous walk-outs with White to sit in cageside seats.
And now he has offered the ultimate support to the MMA promotion.
During a rally at Iowa, Trump decided to announce that he intends to bring the UFC to the gardens of the White House.
“We’re going to have a UFC fight. We’re going to have a UFC fight, think of this, on the grounds of the White House,” he said.
“We have a lot of land there, we’re going to build a little — we’re not, Dana is going to do it.
“Dana is great, one of a kind — going to be UFC fight, championship fight, full fight, like 20,000 to 25,000 people, and we’re going to do that as part of 250 celebrations.
“We’re going to have some incredible events, some professional events, some amateur events. But the UFC fight is going to be a big deal.”
White then reacted on his Instagram story, captioning the video: “This is going to be EPIC.”
It will be a historic first UFC event ever to be held in the home of the president.
And it would be a monumental step for White to catapult the sport of MMA even more into the mainstream than already completed.

The UFC during their time in prominence have put on some groundbreaking and unique events in spectacular locations.
During the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 and 2021, White launched Fight Island in Abu Dhabi.
The island was able to host some huge events including Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s famous retirement fight with Justin Gaethje in 2020.
Most recently, Sean O’Malley’s victory over Merab Dvalishvilli was the first combat sports event held at Las Vegas’ new build sphere last year.
