Courteney Cox is always up for a good time.
The stunning Friends star is known for her hilarious social media videos, often featuring her many famous pals. The Scream alum shared another laugh-out-loud clip today—this time, a charming prank on her longtime boyfriend Johnny McDaid, member of the Irish-Scottish rock band Snow Patrol.

Unfortunately for Cox, McDaid was one step ahead, turning her prank into a joke on her.
In the video shared to her social media, Cox compliments McDaid’s songwriting skills before revealing she’s going to try speaking to him only using lyrics from his songs.
The results are comedic gold, as Courteney begins quoting lyrics from Ed Sheeran’s hit “Bad Habits,” which McDaid co-wrote. The stoic musician plays along, listening patiently—until the end, when he reveals he’s been in on the prank all along.
