60s Singer of Song Thats Resurfaced on TikTok, Pretty Little Baby, Hospitalized

Singer Connie Francis, known for her hit "Pretty Little Baby" has been hospitalized.

According to TMZ, Francis, 87, is being monitored in a Florida hospital for an unknown reason. An additional source told the outlet that the singer is in the ICU.

    TMZ also noted that the singer has recently suffered orthopedic health issues. While Francis had hits starting in late 1950's, her song "Pretty Little Baby" has been made popular again thanks to TikTok as a frequently used audio for video clips.

    "Pretty Little Baby" was initially released in 1962, however The New York Times reported in June that the song has been used over 600,000 times as an audio backtrack on TikTok — even by Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner.

    This isn't the first time a hit of Francis' resurfaced in current popular culture. Her song "Stupid Cupid" was revived by Mandy Moore on "The Princess Diaries" soundtrack in 2001.

    She's also known for her songs "Who's Sorry Now" and "Everybody's Somebody's Fool."
