Rachel Zegler once again sparked major buzz after headlining Jamie Lloyd’s Evita.
The 24-year-old actress played the role of Evita Perón, an activist actress and the second wife of Argentine president Juan Perón.
With the West End production of the musical marking Zegler’s UK stage debut, she received an overwhelming response from the public, including praise from TV host and comedian Rosie O'Donnell, who is known for her fearless opinions and no-holds-barred remarks.
In an Instagram post shared by the award-winning host, she delivered her unfiltered review on how the rising star had carried such an iconic role.
According to her, she was “too overwhelmed” by the actress’ performance, which she described as “groundbreaking.”
“I am so moved. I need a day to find the right words - she is just unreal - her talent extraordinary- I was blown away- ps she is 24!!!! @rachelzegler bravo honey - bravo,” she wrote.

In the comments section, Zegler responded with a heartfelt message, expressing her gratitude.
“I LOVE YOU, ROSIE,” she replied.
O'Donnell’s followers and fans quickly chimed in on the comments and continued to hype Zegler’s new role.

In Jamie Lloyd’s revival of “Evita,” the “Snow White” star performed the musical’s signature song and most iconic scene, “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina.” But instead of singing from a traditional set, Zegler delivered the number from the actual balcony of the iconic London Palladium, serenading the public gathered on the street below.
