A Ukiah woman was arrested recently while driving a vehicle reported stolen out of Sonoma County, the Ukiah Police Department reported.
According to the UPD, officers were notified by the city’s FLOCK system of license-plate reading cameras that a vehicle reported stolen to the Santa Rosa Police Department was being driven in the Ukiah city limits shortly before 11 p.m. June 26.
According to the UPD, the stolen vehicle was a Nissan Xterra that officers soon located in the 500 block of Ford Street in Ukiah. After conducting an “enforcement stop” on the vehicle, officers arrested the driver, identified as 36-year-old Jessica Bell of Ukiah, who was booked into county jail on suspicion of vehicle theft and held under $15,000 bail.
