AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Texas State University System's Board of Regents may discuss leaving the Sun Belt Conference during a Monday morning meeting.
The board will convene around 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Texas State University System Administration Office in Austin, according to an agenda published on the Texas Secretary of State's website.
The agenda only lists "Action Items" and "TXST: Authorization for Payment and Agreement" on the agenda, without additional details.
However, KXAN previously reported that the meeting could include a vote for Texas State to switch conferences. They could move to the Pac-12 Conference in 2026, according to sources.
