(KRON) — A person was hospitalized and is in critical condition Saturday after they fell from a San Francisco high-rise and landed on an awning attached to the building’s facade, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to an emergency rescue at 1000 Green Street in the city's Russian Hill neighborhood around 5 p.m.
“An individual has reportedly fallen from an unknown height onto an awning,” SFFD wrote on social media.
