Regional Transportation District police are investigating a video posted to Reddit that apparently shows a man holding onto the back of a moving bus as it drives on U.S. 36 near Boulder.
A video was posted to the Boulder subreddit on Monday showing a man wearing dark clothing, a mask and carrying a blue bag while holding onto the back of an AB2 bus in the Denver-bound lanes of U.S. 36 near Boulder.
The Daily Camera has not verified the video. The person who posted it on Reddit declined to comment.
RTD staff wrote in a Tuesday email that they are aware of a video circulating online showing extremely unsafe behavior.
The district cited the Customer Code of Conduct in the email and wrote that “rules prohibit activity and behaviors that may adversely affect the use, operation or occupancy of RTD vehicles and facilities.”
“Customers are required to safely use RTD vehicles and prioritize safety whenever they are on RTD property for the safety and well-being of themselves and others,” RTD spokeswoman Tara Broghammer wrote.
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Boulder Police Department and Colorado State Patrol all confirmed that they did not receive any reports or calls for service about the incident.
