Fans Say Iconic Hitmaker Did Exactly the Right Thing After Concertgoer Threw Item on Stage During Show

Chris Brown fans are applauding the way in which the iconic singer handled a recent situation during a concert.

In footage shared via Instagram recently, the "Residuals" artist can be seen on-stage in the UK at Wales' Principality Stadium in the middle of performing his 2012 hit "Turn Up the Music," when a splash of liquid made it onto the platform, nearly making contact with his feet.

Luckily, he didn't step on it and slip, but his perplexed facial expression gave away exactly how he was feeling about someone throwing something toward him. Ever the professional, though, Brown, 36, made sure everyone nearby was OK by signaling with a thumbs up gesture, before seeming to ask, "What the f--k was that?"

According to the concertgoer who uploaded the footage, the offender was told to leave and escorted out, a move that supporters online hailed as a proper course of action for the disrespectful gesture.

"Watch Chris Brown get pissed off and rightly so, at someone who threw water at him... she got told to f--k rightttt off & escorted out," text over the clip read.

On social media, fans praised his "professionalism," insisting that he "did exactly the right thing" by requesting the offender be removed from the venue.

"Why would folks pay for great seats just to disrespect the person they came to see ! ?! Also him Just dancing and moving on is hilariously professional," one said in the comment section, while another agreed, "Who pays all that money to kicked out of a concert? @chrisbrownofficial did exactly the right thing. I am so sick of PEOPLE but I love Chris.???."

"Now he slips and falls then what ??‍♂️," a third pointed out of the potential hazard.

More raved, "He didn't miss a beat ??❤️," "I love how he handle the situation… Chris is on his grown man stuff???," and "I love what he did."

Meanwhile, someone else pointed out, "They are just messing with him just to make him mad which is not cool. But I like how he handled the situation and kept the show going. He’s always humble."

Objects being thrown onto stage during concerts has, unfortunately, become a frequent occurrence, with some artists even sustaining injuries as a result of things being pelted toward them while performing.

The Grammy winner is currently on his Breezy Bowl XX stadium tour, playing several more shows abroad through the end of June and early next month before heading back to the U.S. for a Miami, Fla. show on July 30. The concert series, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of his debut album, is currently slated to wrap up on Oct. 18, 2025, in Memphis, Tenn., though there have been many more dates added to the lineup since the initial tour news.
