Travis Kelce might be spending time with his pop-star girlfriend Taylor Swift this summer, but he is not playing games when it comes to the upcoming NFL season.
The 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end has allegedly lost a good amount of weight during the 2025 offseason. According to a report by ESPN reporter Jeremy Fowler during the Saturday, June 14 episode of SportsCenter, Kelce has been slimming down in Florida in preparation for the upcoming season.
“He’s told people close to him that he’s lost about 25 pounds this offseason,” Fowler told viewers, before he explained that Kelce was heavier during the 2024-2025 season — which his team lost against the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl — than ever before in his NFL career. The report also noted that the weight loss was something Kelce “vowed” to change and that he has followed through. “He’s trying to be slimmer and has gone hardcore this offseason to make it work.” Fowler later mentioned that the 2025–2026 season — which would be Kelce’s 13th in the league — could be the Ohio native’s “last dance.”

Kelce reportedly rented a $20 million mansion in Florida for the summer and brought along his private chef, according to a Monday, June 16 article by Page Six. The outlet specified that the NFL pro’s diet consisted of yellowfin tuna, shrimp, and crab.
