ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Organizers of the ESL Rochester Fringe Festival have announced that comedian and TV show host Chelsea Handler is the comedy headliner for this year’s festival.
Handler hosted E!’s “Chelsea Lately,” for seven years. She also launched her own documentary series “Chelsea Does,” her own talk show “Chelsea,” on Netflix in 2016 and has published seven New York Times best-selling books, her most recent being “I’ll Have What She’s Having.”
Handler will be making her way to Rochester on Saturday, September 13 and will be performing at 8 p.m. in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 20 here.
The full lineup for this year’s festival will be announced on Wednesday, July 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the annual Big Reveal press conference. The festival begins on Sept. 9 and goes until Sept. 20.
