After months of speculation, Dua Lipa confirmed that she and Callum Turner are engaged.
The 30-year-old pop star confirmed the exciting update in her July cover interview with British Vogueon June 12 and revealed "We're engaged."
“It’s very exciting," she said about the next step in her relationship with the 35-year old actor. "This decision to grow old together, to see a life and... be best friends forever – it’s a really special feeling.”
The "Houdini" singer also opened up about the engagement ring Turner selected for her and revealed he had it custom made for her after speaking to her best friends and sister Rina.
"I’m obsessed with it,” she gushed. "It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”

While the pair haven't set a wedding date yet, Lipa confirmed that the couple are "enjoying this period" together. "I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be," she continued. "All of a sudden I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”
Fans were quick to share their excitement around the news across social media, with one fan gushing that they are "so happy for them" on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Lipa and Turner began dating in January 2024 and also opened up to British Vogue about first meeting The Boys In The Boat actor at The River Cafe in London. A year later, she met Turner again while having dinner with a friend in Los Angeles and remembered thinking "'Oh, it’s that really hot guy from The River Cafe.'”

Engagement rumors circulated online after the "Dance the Night" singer shared an Instagram post on Dec. 24, 2024, which included a photo of her wearing a ring on that finger.
The photo dump was simply captioned "home for the holidays ❣️ sending you all so much love" without mention of the ring, but fans were quick to point out the engagement ring on her finger.
"THE RINGGGGG?" one fan wrote in her comments while another one added that. "TRAINING SEASONS DEFINITELY OVER!!!✨."
