Puppeteer and visionary Jim Henson left an indelible mark on all of our childhoods. From bringing iconic characters like Yoda to life, to fashioning cult-classics like The Labyrinth there are almost too many projects to name. But none have meant more to the world than The Muppets.
The Muppets brought kids on so many adventures, and one Disney-goers loved was the Muppet Vision 3D in Disney World. Sadly, the park made the decision to shutter the theater for good. The last showing was on June 7 and luckily Henson's daughter Heather Henson, 54, was given a chance to say goodbye in person. Before she entered the theater for the final time, as the last viewer, she addressed the crowd.

While several people were heartbroken to learn the news, fans were floored at how much she resembles her father.
"Jim really said 'copy+ paste' when he made her huh," noted one fan.

The long running show was Henson's last project he worked on before dying at age 53. The show combined a fun blend of 3D visuals, special effects, and various animatronics which are rumored to be getting a new home at the re-themed Rock 'n' Roller Coaster.
The show had been running officially since 1991. The theater's closure is likely making way for the highly anticipated Monster's Inc Land. While there's no official opening date, construction is set to begin this summer.
