The Alice Cooper Group just dropped their music video for "Wild Ones," the band's new single from their upcoming album The Revenge of Alice Cooper — and fans are losing it from excitement.
Longtime followers of the legendary '60s group can't get over the video, which features the surviving members of the group — Cooper, Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunaway and Neal Smith — rocking out in the studio and performing the new track. (Though guitarist Glen Buxton died in 1997 at 49 years old, Ultimate Classic Rock reports that he will be posthumously featured on the album's song “What Happened To You,” by using "demo riffs" he had recorded when he was alive.
In the music video, which dropped on Wednesday, June 4, the band is rocking out as heavy as they ever have — leaving fans stunned at their talent and virility all these decades later.
"Alice Cooper keeps rockin' and rockin', nothing gonna stop him! Awesome to bring the classic band back together," one fan gushed in the comments of the YouTube video.
"Neal and Dennis killing it at their age!! Terrific," another person praised.
"Great to hear Alice can still growl like he was in his 20s again," a third user posted. "Band sounds fantastic."
"It's a huge thrill to hear these dudes cooking in the studio again," another Cooper devotee wrote. "This sounds like Alice Cooper, the band."
There were also plenty of comments detailing how much fans miss Buxton.
"Glen would be looking down on this and smiling. Still listen to Alice every day," one person penned.
"They're back!! RIP Glen!!! Wish you were here too!!!" wrote another fan.
