Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois 2: Date, start time, undercard and how to follow undisputed heavyweight clash at Wembley

Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois are to set to meet again later this year for the right to be crowned undisputed heavyweight champion.

The duo first clashed in Poland in 2023, and it proved to be controversial as Dubois was adjudged to have hit the Ukrainian with a low punch.

The first fight saw Usyk overcome Dubois before facing Tyson Fury twice

Instead of being ruled as a knockdown, Usyk was given five minutes to recover from the shot.

He then got off the canvas to see off the Londoner with relative ease.

Usyk has gone on to beat Tyson Fury twice to establish himself as one of the all-time greats, while Dubois has hugely improved.

‘Dynamite’ is the current holder of the IBF heavyweight title after he demolished Anthony Joshua to defend his belt.

And after he had to withdraw from facing Joseph Parker due to illness, Dubois is ready to potentially become the undisputed champion of the world.

Usyk vs Dubois 2: What has been said?

The relationship between the two camps is strained after the controversial nature of the last fight, and it all kicked off at the press conference.

Usyk brought along some photos of the low blow and got Dubois to sign them, leading to DDD’s trainer, Don Charles, to rip into Usyk.

He said: “Usyk, as a boxing trainer, I have a lot of respect for you as a fighter.

“What you have achieved is remarkable, but it disappoints me that you can stoop as low as bringing those types of photographs I’m looking at [of the low blow].

“Why don’t you print out the actual shot that had you trembling?

“The acting you did that night, you should have been given an Oscar for that performance.

“You conned the referee, you conned us, you conned the boxing world.

“You pride yourself as a good-fearing man, Thall shall not lie in the name of God.

“So I want to question, what sort of God you worship, period.

“You can look at me as much as you like; in fact, I will print out a photo of me so you can go home and study it.

“You are very mentally strong, but you have met somebody who is stronger than you.”

Meanwhile, Dubois pushed Usyk during the pair’s face-off on the Wembley pitch, and he explained why he did that on talkSPORT.

He said: “At the end of the day, it is a fight.

“Any time we are in each other’s faces it could kick off. But I’m grateful for the opportunity and ready to fight.

“I definitely respect Oleksandr Usyk, but I get the opportunity to try and beat him as well.

“Oleksandr has had his time, but now it is my time and I’m ready to go.”
