The IPL 2025 has finally come to a close. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have won Virat Kohli his first IPL trophy in a six-run win over Punjab Kings in the IPL 2025 Final at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Tuesday. After a season that saw many ups and downs and eye-catching moments, RCB have triumphed in front of a packed crowd in Ahmedabad. Gujarat Titans duo Sai Sudharsan and Prasidh Krishna clinched multiple awards, while Suryakumar Yadav was named IPL 2025 MVP.

IPL 2025 Orange Cap, Emerging Player of Season: Sai Sudharsan (GT)
Sai Sudharsan enjoyed a stellar season, becoming only the fifth in IPL history to score more than 750 runs in a season. He finished with 759 runs in 15 innings, averaging 54 and striking at 156.17. He struck six 50s and a century, forming a dangerous partnership with Shubman Gill. Suryakumar Yadav was the only other to score more than 700, while Virat Kohli remained third with 657 in 15 games.
Sai Sudharsan also won the Emerging Player of the season. The GT opener was eligible for the honour, having played less than 25 games in the tournament before IPL 2025. He also finished the tournament with 88 boundaries, the most.

Prasidh Krishna had a couple of horror years, missing the tournament due to injury. Now fully fit, Gujarat Titans splashed on him in the auction and were instantly rewarded. Bowling largely in the middle overs, the Karnataka pacer chipped in with regular wickets. He also kept the runs in check, with an economy of only 8.27 despite bowling the difficult overs. He finished just ahead of CSK’s Noor Ahmad, who had 24 wickets. RCB’s Josh Hazlewood has 22 to his name, and finished third.
IPL 2025 MVP: Suryakumar Yadav (MI)
Suryakumar Yadav has been synonymous with consistency in IPL 2025. India’s T20 captain went past 25 in every single game he played for the Mumbai Indians. He became the first batter to score 700 or more runs from No.3 or below in IPL history, averaging a mind-boggling 65.18 and striking at 167.91.
IPL 2025 Most Sixes: Nicholas Pooran (LSG)
Nicholas Pooran had a season to remember after being retained by Lucknow Super Giants. Pooran had already hit 31 sixes in his first 5 games. He was, however, way ahead of the pack, even as a poor run of form eventually saw others catch up. Eventually, the West Indian finished one ahead of Punjab Kings captain who hit 39 sixes in IPL 2025
IPL 2025 Super Striker: Vaibhav Suryavanshi (RR)
Rajasthan Royals’ teenage superstar Vaibhav Suryavanshi took the IPL by storm. Having smashed the fastest hundred by an Indian, the 15-year-old eventually ended with the highest strike rate for a player this season. The left-hander finished the season with a strike rate of 206.55 in 7 innings, scoring 252 runs.
