MobLand has only just reached its finale on Paramount+ and already talk has turned to a second season.
Paramount+ has made no announcements yet about a second series.
But given the first season’s premiere broke records for Paramount+, watched by 2.2 million global viewers on its first day, the highest ever in the streamer’s history, it seems likely the series will continue.
With an all-star cast featuring Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan and Tom Hardy and set in modern-day London, the show focuses on the all-powerful Harrigan family, who dominate the criminal underworld in the capital and their fixer Harry Da Souza.
Written by Top Boy creator Ronan Bennett, it was executive produced by Guy Ritchie and Jez Butterworth with some episodes also directed by Ritchie.
The 10-part series launched on Sunday 30 March in the UK and came to a violent conclusion on Sunday 1 June.
We take a look at what may be in store for London’s premier crime family in the future with some spoilers about the current series.

Tom Hardy, who plays the Harrigan’s fixer harry Da Souza, told The Hollywood Reporter: “The plan is definitely to see more seasons.”
And he hinted at where the story may go next adding: “The question is: Does it become international?

“There are international elements to organised crime, which are touched on in season one.”
Writer and executive producer Jez Butterworth has also indicated the Harrigans will not be going away anytime soon.
In an interview for the New York Post, he said: “I’d like this to run for as long as it fascinates and delights and stimulates an audience.
“If it’s doing that, then long may it continue.”
If it does, he wants family chaos to still reign supreme.
“They resemble most families, which is to say, they’re chaos,” he said. “I can’t be working out in my family who’s the craziest! That’s going to continue.”
And he has made clear that Harry’s story, which looked precarious at the end of season one, is far from over yet.
Asked if Harry was dead, he said: “No. We’re not gonna – We love Harry. We love Tom.”

MobLand season one saw Harry Da Souza charged with cleaning up the mess made by the youngest Harrigan Eddie after a nightclub stabbing.
While the son of the Harrigans’ arch-nemesis Richie Stevenson (Geoff Bell), who was with Eddie at the time, disappeared.
What ensued was all-out war between two of the most powerful crime families in London, and caught in the crossfire was Da Souza.
Stevenson eventually came to a sticky end, but head of the family business Conrad Harrigan (Brosnan) has ended up behind bars.
It leaves something of a vacancy at the top of family operations and there are plenty vying for his crown including his son Kevin and Da Souza, wife Maeve and son Eddie and potentially his daughter Seraphina.
As the power struggles play out and deals are done, Da Souza is forced to choose between betraying the Harrigans or backing them. He goes for the latter out of loyalty to his childhood friend Kevin.
But after the violent encounters and difficult deals in his working day, it is an unforeseen domestic incident which leaves him blindsided. An argument at home with wife Jan Da Souza (Joanne Froggatt) escalates in the final episode culminating in him being stabbed in the chest accidentally with a kitchen knife.
Da Souza’s survival is wrapped up in a second season.
