A country rocker was forced to postpone his upcoming concert on Wednesday, June 4, and fans are not happy about it.
Chris Stapleton, 47, and the All-American Road Show Tour Instagram posted to social media on Sunday, June 1 that due to "critical pieces" of the tour production being "damaged beyond repair," they were forced to cancel their concert in Greenville, North Carolina, and that it will be held on July 9.
"Critical pieces of our tour production were damaged beyond repair while en route to Greenville. Unfortunately, without that equipment, we are unable to put on the show," the post reads.
It continues, "The Greenville show is rescheduled for Wednesday, July 9. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. For those unable to attend the rescheduled date, please contact your point of purchase. Refund requests through Ticketmaster must be submitted by Tuesday, June 24. The All-American Road Show will now start in Charlottesville on Friday, June 6. Greenville, we appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We look forward to seeing you on July 9."

Fans are not super happy about the change, many of whom were going to travel from far away to see the show.
"This is terribly upsetting ? I bought these tickets for my husband for his birthday, who has been trying to see CS since 2020. I’m 30 weeks pregnant and will be 36 weeks then. I don’t know if we can attend now, and I’m just devastated ?," wrote one fan.
Another added, "Dude the show is Wednesday, you can get equipment by then, he lose his voice?"
"This broke my heart!! This was a Father’s Day gift for my dad, and he’s gonna be out of town for work on the rescheduled date. So sad?" wrote a third fan.
A fourth fan wrote, "I'm ACTUALLY so mad at you."

"This is not cool. I now can’t go, and am out a few thousand $$ due to not being able to make it. You are my favorite, and this is very upsetting," wrote another fan.
The All-American Road Show Tour has been on-going since 2017 with very few breaks. Stapleton has been joined on the tour (or joined up with) such acts as Brothers Osborne, Marty Stuart, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Lyle Lovett and George Strait.
