(KRON) -- The Bay Area is cooler today, after a brief taste of early summer-like heat. Below-normal high temperatures are expected early into the work week, shifting to near normal as early as midweek.

A pattern change and a cool down today North Bay Interior locations will remain near normal for this time of year, where highs will span 70s to 80s. Elsewhere, near normal to below normal temperatures are expected as temperatures range from the mid 50s to the 70s.

Cooler weather remains in the forecast Sunday through Tuesday.
