AN ICONIC drink from Dr Pepper has been brought back for a limited time after 11 years.

FANS are already hyped for the upcoming release, but right now it seems it will only be available in select locations in the US.

First brought out in 2014, Dr Pepper’s Vanilla Float flavor combines the classic taste with a creamy vanilla twist.

The Independent reports that Dr Pepper has brought back the flavor for a limited time this summer.

Fans of the Dr Pepper flavor can buy it in 12 ounce cans on store shelves.

It has also been said that Dr Pepper has re-released its Creamy Coconut flavor this month after its initial launch last year.

And those who intend to do so have already made themselves known, as they take to social media to spread the word.

The account Mouth Attack on Instagram shared the news on Tuesday.

They wrote in the caption: “Dr Pepper has brought back its fan-favorite Vanilla Float flavor for a limited time in summer 2025.

“This seasonal release combines the classic 23-flavor blend of Dr Pepper with a creamy vanilla twist, reminiscent of a traditional soda fountain float.

“Available in 12-ounce cans, Dr Pepper Vanilla Float is being sold in select stores across the United States.

“Given its limited-edition status, availability may vary by location, and it’s advisable to check with local retailers or online platforms for current stock.”

In the comments, Dr Pepper lovers were excited to see the drink return.

One person wrote: “Idk might start drinking sugary drinks again cause of this.”

While another added: “Omg I need this.”

But others wanted to know if there would be a sugar free version, which there is.

Right now, there is a degree of uncertainty over exactly where you can find yourself a can of Vanilla Float.

It has been reported that fans can grab one at participating Walmart and Rouses stores in Louisiana through the end of July.

You can also get one on Amazon.

However, it’s unclear if the Vanilla Float and Creamy Coconut flavors will be stocked in stores nationwide.

If the drink is being re-released after a number of years, it is unknown why Dr Pepper would only bring it back to one state.

The increasing popularity of Dr Pepper is increasing, and in 2023 it was named America’s second-favorite soda after Coca-Cola.

Given this, fans are anticipating any move from the brand, so to release it only in Louisiana is an interesting choice if true.
