At the height of her career, Irish singer Enya, 64, was best known for songs like "Orinoco Flow (Sail Away)" and "Only Time" — music that still continues to be prominent in pop culture today.
But over the past several years, Enya has chosen a more reclusive lifestyle, often choosing to hole up at home in Dublin rather than go out. Then again, she does live in a literal castle, so why would she leave?
The last time that Enya was seen in public was in 2017, when she attended the Grammys. But on May 16, she finally stepped out again.
As The Sun reported, Enya appeared in a photo that was shared on Facebook when she attended a wedding at Donegal's Drumhalla House

According to the Irish Mirror, Enya reportedly shares her space with 12 cats and is single by choice, rarely choosing to spend time with others, including her own family, and that's the way she likes it.
“She lives like a queen. She is a recluse," her uncle once said.
Living in a castle surrounded by cats actually does sound like the ideal life, though. It's hard to blame her for never leaving — and even after so many years ducking the public, it's like she's hardly aged at all.
Maybe she's onto something?
