TRAVIS Kelce has returned to Kansas City Chiefs training camp to prep for the 2025 season.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is looking to have a bounce-back season in 2025.
Travis Kelce had the worst season of his career in 2024, leading many to believe he would retire after the Super Bowl loss.
However, he decided to go for redemption in at least one more season with the Chiefs.
Kelce explained the decision on the New Heights podcast with his brother Jason.
“I think the biggest thing is that I f***ing love playing the game of football,” he said.
“I still feel I can play at a high level and possibly at a higher level than I did last year.
“I don’t think it was my best outing. I think I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them, especially if you look at my track record and how I’ve been in years past.
“I want to give it a good run. I’ve got a bad taste in my mouth on how I ended the year and how well I was playing and how accountable I was for the people around me.
“I love so many people in Kansas City, both in that facility and the community and it’s home for me now.
“I don’t want to leave that life yet. I put in a lot of hard work and focus into being the best I can be for Kansas City and last year it didn’t end well for us.
“I feel there’s a responsibility in me to play out the contract I initially signed to give the organization everything that I’ve got and that’s what I’m going to do man.”
Fans didn’t get much of a look at Kelce’s offseason until recently.
He spent most of his time hiding away with Taylor Swift in a compound in Florida.
Kelce did start coming out of hiding this month though, starting with a gold tournament in Las Vegas.
He has since made more and more public appearances leading up to training camp.
Now, Kelce has arrived at training camp and is looking to be in good football shape.
