Westbound Interstate 70 is closed Tuesday near Glenwood Springs for a crash, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The westbound interstate is closed at mile point 109 for the U.S. 6 exit in Chacra, CDOT officials said. As of 11:30 a.m., CDOT was reporting up to 10-minute delays in the area for westbound drivers.
Information on the cause of the crash and when westbound I-70 is expected to reopen was not available Tuesday morning.
Colorado State Patrol officials said drivers can expect an extended closure as crews work to clear the scene. Traffic is being diverted onto U.S. 6.
