1970s heartthrob Donny Osmond is currently in the midst of his Las Vegas residency at Harrah's. But something the show just introduced this spring was Osmond singing with an AI version of his 14-year-old self — and fans can't get enough.
Osmond posted a video from the show to his Instagram, writing, "It’s hard to believe, but in my @harrahsvegas show, I get to share the stage with 14-year-old me. ? Singing side by side with the kid who started it all brings back so many memories. If you grew up with my music, you’ve got to see this moment live.#ConcertTechnology #Holobox #Hologram #PuppyLove."

In the comments, fans were gushing about how cool it is in real life.
"My little sister and my oldest daughter, and I saw it in March in Las Vegas! It was an amazing show!" wrote one fan.

One fan hasn't gotten to see it yet, but she is dying to get to Las Vegas to see it in person, writing, "Ohhhh @donnyosmond all I want to do is experience this!!! I wasn’t alive in 1972 to experience that young Donny, and love that Daxton joined in!!!! I started puppy lovin’ in 1997 when I met you for the first time as a 13/14 year old self….would absolutely cry and fan girl out to have fun with this amazing technology ???????? According to the press release, when Osmond announced he is extending his residency through November 2025, the AI Osmond and the present-day Osmond perform his 1972 hit "Puppy Love."
The press release reads, "Osmond leans into a growing technology trend by grabbing control of his Artificial Intelligence (AI) likeness to create a magical and memorable concert-going experience for fans. Using state-of-the-art technology, original multi-track audio recordings from over 50 years ago, and original footage from the 1970s, the worldwide song sensation 'Puppy Love' is reimagined with AI to recreate and celebrate the 1972 hit."
In the announcement video, Osmond revealed that the AI version of him was made using his grandson, Daxton, as the physical presence for them to appear side by side, but then they use CGI and AI to change Daxton's face and voice into his grandfather at the age of 14.
Osmond's residency currently runs through November 2025. Tickets are on sale now.
