A country legend is taking the Grand Ole Opry international!
On Wednesday, May 21, country legend Marty Stuarttook to Instagram to make a huge announcement about a Grand Ole Opry show later this year.
"We can’t wait to bring the @opry to @royalalberthall in London, for the first time ever! Join us for this special night and see the show that made country music famous. Tickets are on sale this Friday, 23 May. See you in September!" wrote Stuart on Instagram.

In the comments, fans are thrilled, with one writing, "They have no idea what they are in for!! Gonna be amazing!"
Another added, "Goodwill ambassadors bring real country music to the Royal Albert Hall. Have a great time!"
This is the Grand Ole Opry's first-ever international live broadcast for the event, titled "Grand Ole Opry: Live in London." Other artists joining the performance include Luke Combs, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce and Darius Rucker. There will also be UK-based performers announced at a later date.
"This milestone year for the Grand Ole Opry has arrived at the perfect time as country music enjoys an unprecedented rise in global popularity, especially here in the United Kingdom,” said Colin Reed, Executive Chairman of Ryman Hospitality Properties, the Opry’s parent company, in a statement. “Our first-ever broadcast outside of the United States will celebrate the influential music that has shaped this genre.”
Dan Rogers, SVP and Executive Producer of the Grand Ole Opry, added, “The magical thing about the Opry is how many lives it’s touched over the past 100 years. No matter where you live, when you listen to country music, all roads eventually lead to the Grand Ole Opry.”
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 23, at the Royal Albert Hall website.
For those who can't be there in person, the broadcast will air live on WSM Radio and Opry.com and a replay will air at a later date on BBC Radio 2.
This comes as part of the in Opry celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025. A previous live celebration was aired on NBC back in March called "Blake Shelton Hosts Opry 100: A Live Celebration."
