Boogie Fland opted to test the 2025 NBA Draft after a freshman season at Arkansas that was limited by injuries. The former 5-star prospect has since withdrawn from the draft, and he’s now on the move in the transfer portal.
According to ESPN insider Shams Charania, Fland is committing to Florida on the heels of the first national title under Todd Golden. Fland was a 5-star transfer according to 247 Sports and one of the top overall players available this offseason.

— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) May 20, 2025As a freshman, Fland sustained a thumb ligament injury that required surgery and limited the elite freshman to 21 total games (18 appearances). When on the court, Fland was the 2nd-leading scorer for the Razorbacks at 13.5 points per game and the team leader in assists at 5.1.
Fland also averaged 1.5 steals and 3.2 rebounds while shooting 37.9% from the floor. The efficiency will need to improve with the Gators, but it is not hard to see what Fland brings to the table.
Overall, Fland is the 3rd transfer pickup for Golden’s staff, joining AJ Brown (Ohio) and Xaivian Lee (Princeton). Those pieces give Golden some great reinforcements after losing Walter Clayton Jr. and others to the NBA Draft.
