The town of Chapel Hill is asking for your input as they figure out what to do with the property at 828 MLK Boulevard, which is about to be vacated by Chapel Hill Police as they move to a new headquarters. The location is a Brownfields site because of a decades-old coal ash dump, but there are a lot of options for how to develop the site, from recreation to retail to transit. (Though the town will also have to decide what to do about that coal ash as well: cover it up, or haul it away?)

Chapel Hill town manager Mary Jane Nirdlinger and sustainability director John Richardson join Aaron to discuss the property and encourage everyone to take the survey before the end of the month.
